This year the SAVS is offering (20) twenty $1000 travel scholarships for medical students and general surgery residents to attend the SAVS 2024 Annual Meeting. The grant is partially funded by W.L. Gore through the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery. Applicants must be either a medical student (years 1-3) or general surgery resident (PGY 1-3) interested in vascular surgery and able to attend the meeting from Wednesday, January 24 to Saturday, January 27. As the purpose of these scholarships is to increase interest in vascular surgery, students and residents already applying for training positions are not eligible. Ten of the twenty scholarships are reserved for women and underrepresented minorities.
