INTRODUCTION: Aortic arch disease processes have proven to be difficult for off the shelf endovascular devices due to anatomic and physiologic factors. In this video, we present the first case in the United States using the Bolton RelayBranch system, an off the shelf system for Zone 0 aortic coverage, to treat a 6 cm distal arch aneurysm in a patient high risk for open repair.
METHODS: We present the procedure step-wise, using a combination of fluoroscopy and live video to demonstrate the system.
RESULTS: Successful exclusion of the target lesion.
CONCLUSIONS: The Bolton RelayBranch system is undergoing early feasibility studies in the United States, we present the first case a video of the first case performed with successful treatment of the target lesion.
